The fine print, in plain words
Terms of Use
Last updated: June 13, 2026
By using littlesums.com or any Little Sums tool, you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable, not to trick you.
Who we are
Little Sums is a sole proprietorship based in Kentucky, USA, making digital money tools you buy once and keep.
Your license
When you buy a tool, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own personal use, on your own devices, for as long as you like. In plain terms, you may:
- Use the tool for yourself, as much as you want.
- Keep your own backup copies of the file you bought.
You may not:
- Resell, rent, share, give away, or redistribute the file or any part of it.
- Republish it, post it for download, or include it in another product.
- Claim it as your own or remove its branding.
What's ours
The tools, their code, the writing, the designs, and the Little Sums name and look are owned by Little Sums. Buying a tool gives you the right to use it, not to own the underlying work.
Free demos
Live demos are provided free so you can try a tool in full before buying. They're offered as-is, and may change or pause at any time.
Not financial advice
Little Sums tools help you plan by doing calculations from the numbers you enter. They produce estimates, not guarantees. They are not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice, and your bank or lender's actual terms may differ from any estimate. Use your own judgment, and talk to a qualified professional for advice about your situation.
Provided "as is"
The tools are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Little Sums isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the tools — including any decision made based on their estimates. Your data lives on your device and is your responsibility; please keep backups using the export option.
Purchases
Tools are sold and delivered through Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy's own terms also apply to the checkout. See our Refund Policy for how returns work.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms as the store grows; the date above shows the current version. Continuing to use the site means you accept the latest version.
