Privacy Policy

Little Sums is a sole proprietorship based in Kentucky, USA ("we," "us," "I"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit littlesums.com, use our tools, or buy one.

The website

We use two tools to understand how people find and use the site:

Vercel Web Analytics. Our host, Vercel, counts page views anonymously: the page visited, the referring site, your general location (country and region), and your device, browser and operating system type. It sets no cookies. Visits are grouped using a temporary code made from the incoming request, which is discarded after 24 hours. We only ever see totals, never individual visitors.

The Pinterest tag. Pages that our Pinterest pins link to — product pages and free tools — run Pinterest's measurement tag. It sets cookies in your browser (such as _pin_unauth, _epik and _derived_epik) and sends Pinterest the page you visited, the referring page, and basic browser and device details. This lets us see which pins bring visitors, and lets Pinterest measure and improve the ads it shows. Pinterest handles this data under its own privacy policy. We don't send Pinterest anything you type into a tool, and we don't send it your email or purchase details.

Google Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, and like most websites, that request shares your IP address with Google so the fonts can be delivered.

We don't sell your personal information or build a profile of you.

The tools you use

Our trackers and calculators run entirely in your web browser. Everything you enter — debts, balances, amounts, goals — is saved locally on your own device (in your browser's storage), or not saved at all in the free calculators, and is never sent to us or anyone else. We can't see it. Clearing your browser's data, or using a tool's "start over" option, removes it. Because it lives on your device, it isn't backed up automatically, which is why each paid tool includes an export option.

Buying a tool

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our checkout provider and merchant of record. When you buy, Lemon Squeezy collects what's needed to take payment and deliver your file — typically your name, email, and payment details — under their own privacy policy. We receive limited order information, such as your email and what you bought, so we can deliver support.

If you write to littlesums@yahoo.com, we keep that message so we can reply and help. We don't add you to any marketing list.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a content blocker, and the Pinterest tag won't be able to set or read its cookies. If you have a Pinterest account, you can also turn off ads personalization that uses activity from other websites in your Pinterest privacy and data settings. Vercel Web Analytics sets no cookies and keeps nothing that identifies you.

You can email us any time to ask what we hold (it's very little) or to ask us to delete our correspondence with you. For anything collected at checkout, contact Lemon Squeezy, who hold that data.

Children

This website and checkout are meant for adults. Family HQ includes a Kid mode that children use on a parent's device, under the parent's supervision; like every Little Sums tool, it keeps its data on that device, and we collect nothing from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the store grows. The date at the top shows the latest version.
